We specialise in-house with various training programmes. We collaborate with external organisations such as UUJ, QUB, Cornell University, NISCC to learn from their expertise and help us all provide up-to-date relevant training.
Tearmann Care pays all our staff to get training and applications. Assistance for professional courses can be applied for through discussions with senior management.
Tearmann values are founded in the principles of trauma informed practices, we are compliant with the NIFTIC and we are committed to service wide specialist training in this area
We have a number of TCI leads and in-house training providers who will provide regular training updates and post-crisis response training to all staff.

Our senior management team recognise how they are not only responsible for the wellbeing of the children but for the wellbeing of our employees also. We shall nurture our staff through mentoring, coaching and reflection with the aim of enhancing their skills and knowledge through formal an informal learning. At every level of Tearmann Care Ireland, the vision is to promote and enhance the capabilities of those who are enhancing the lives of the children in our care.
