Tearmann Care\u2019s staff team have been trained in the \u2018Just Right State Programme\u2019, This allows care staff to engage the children in the appropriate use of sensory activities and foods to help the children learn how to self-regulate their emotional states and behaviour. The goal of this programme is to enable children to become more emotionally aware of themselves and others and to give them simple tools to achieve the \u2018just right state\u2019, whether that is to engage in academic learning, interacting with their peers or to be able to get a good night\u2019s sleep. The care staff trained in The Just Right State Programme has been trained and certified by Eadaoin Bhreathnach (Clinical Director of the Sensory Attachment Centre).<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

We have taken guidance and support from Eadaoin Bhreathnach ( Sensory attachment interventions) to build the capacity of the social work team through training and development. Tearmann Care recognises and has invested in ensuring we have the correct setting condition to promote a therapeutic milieu and allow the young people in our care to feel safe and contained.<\/p>

Through ensuring that we have the correct trauma reducing environment we understand the environment that surrounds the young person to promote a safe, supportive, and regulated home environment.<\/p>
