Tearmann has a residential staff team who are all registered with the Northern Ireland Social Crae Council (NISCC) and trained specifically in attachment (Just right state, Sensory attachment intervention), Therapeutic crisis intervention (TCI) and trauma informed models. The team is supported by experienced social workers, a clinical psychologist and an occupational therapist all of whom play a key role in providing training, clinical supervision, individual strategies, reflective practice sessions as well as case regular case discussion.<\/p>

At Tearmann Care we will also have access to a nurse who will visit the home regularly and check in with the young people who are living there and complete health checks as well as listening to any concerns the child may have around their health. At Tearmann we have the ability and facilities to have many other professionals support our team and young [people through art, music and work with animals.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

The core values of Tearmann are\ninfluenced by Dr Dan Hughes\u2019 Model of Attachment, which is used to support children who\nhave experienced relational trauma. This model uses PACE (playfulness, acceptance,\ncuriosity, and empathy), a way of thinking, feeling, communicating and behaving that aims to make the child feel physically and relationally safe.
